Leading global travel membership organisation, RCI has teamed up with Lynch Hotels to affiliate three properties to the RCI network in key tourist spots around the country. One of Irelands best known hotel operators, Lynch Hotels, recently launched Holiday Ownership Ireland (HOI) in 2004 adapting three of its most popular hotels to a mixed-used model to build brand new, two bedroom, two bathroom apartments on each existing complex.
For a one-off payment including maintenance fees and RCI membership, customers are entitled to 5 years of holidays in any of the three hotels in Dublin, Clare and Mayo. HOI will be managed as a white label club by RCI who will provide a full range of travel, reservation and exchange services to members and will be run on a Points scheme.
Chief Executive & President of RCI Europe & Middle East, Preben Vestdam said: Ireland is a destination that is ripe for timeshare type development right now. The product offers hospitality brands and developers a natural diversification path that increases brand loyalty and guarantees higher occupancy year-round and while the property market for second homes is continuing to escalate in Ireland, holiday ownership schemes make sense to anyone looking for a savvy financial solution to planning their leisure time.
He goes onto say: Ireland has always been a popular destination for our members and continues to grow in demand. The three properties we have affiliated provide a good mix of country and urban destinations in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Lynch Breaffy House Hotel Spa & Suites in Castlebar, Co Mayo, nominated alongside Gleneagles in Scotland in the 2004 World Travel Awards, is a baronial country house estate with a world-class spa. Deep in the wooded countryside of Co Clare, Lynch Clare Inn Hotel & Suites overlooks Domoland Castles championship 18-hole golf course and the nearby Shannon estuary. And by contrast, the Lynch Green Isle Hotel based in the heart of Dublin is minutes from world class shopping, dining and nightlife.
Michael B. Lynch, Group Managing Director Lynch Hotels, says " The introduction of HOI and now our affiliation to RCI is unique to the Irish market and comes at a time when Irish people are increasingly keen to invest in holiday homes abroad. Our HOI programme addresses this trend also in that we are offering a degree of ownership that comes with the flexibility in terms of when and where you holiday. Being a HOI owner means you can holiday both at home and abroad without feeling guilty about a second home that goes unused."
