Dorchester Collection's Le Meurice is delighted to announce the launch of its four new banqueting packages. These include a private wine tasting; a private cocktail competition; a grand dinner inspired by Marie Antoinette; and a Rossini Dinner combining Rossini's music and recipes.
Situated in the heart of Paris and just a short stroll from the city's most famous landmarks, Le Meurice provides the ideal environment for business and client entertainment. The new banqueting offers include:
- Estelle Touzet's wine voyage: Head sommelier, Estelle Touzet, invites guests to discover the world's finest wines in a private tasting followed by a dinner in one of the banqueting rooms. The tasting will last one hour for up to 25 guests.
- Shake and stir: Guests can learn top tips on how to concoct the perfect cocktail with head barman at Bar 228, William Oliveri, who will host cocktail masterclasses in one of the banqueting rooms. Ideal for private parties or team building events, the classes will be followed by a group competition where guests will be split into two groups to create their own cocktail. A prize will be awarded to the winning team.
- A taste of time: A dinner looking back in time with traditional French cuisine inspired by Marie Antoinette and the Ch'teau de Versailles as well as four operatic performances to take guests back in time. Staff will be in fancy dress to replicate the era and guests are encouraged to dress up to bring to life the style and traditions of Louis XVI's time.
- Savouring the senses with Rossini: Artistic creation has always been at the heart of Le Meurice's 'Art de Vivre'. Taking influence from the great opera composer Rossini, who was fascinated by gastronomy and who created various recipes to coincide with his music, Le Meurice has combined both arts to offer guests a special dinner to remember. With a live Orchestra present throughout, guests can fully embrace the experience of sound and taste, a concept Rossini famously embraced. For further entertainment the evening will also include samplings, gourmet games, and a dinner hosted in the Salon Pompadour, previously known as the Musical Room.
Each package will be tailored to suit guests' specific needs. A knowledgeable team is on hand to offer the highest standards of service in the planning and running of every event.
Prices upon application. For further information and bookings please call the private events team at Le Meurice directly on + 33 1 44 58 10 30 or email events.lmp@dorchestercollection.com
