Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism student Hilary Heslop will speak at Food & Words, an annual all-day writers' festival on 16 September 2017 at The Mint, Sydney.

Hilary Heslop is also the Director of Tarn Food Consulting and has worked with major retailers, food manufacturers, hotels and restaurants. With a keen interest in global agricultural practices, Hilary uses her experience developing indigenous food products to explore the tensions between food ethics, sustainability and consumerism.

This year Food & Words will present some of Australia’s best food writing talent. Featuring 12+ speakers; lunch; morning and afternoon tea; refreshments (wine, tea, coffee); a gift book and the opportunity to network with industry professionals, this event is a must for anyone with an interest in food writing.
