9 February 2022 - LATAM has launched a new video that takes passengers through important safety measures as they tour iconic locations in Latin America, including San Pedro de Atacama in Chile; Cuzco in Peru; Cartagena de Indias in Colombia; Galapagos in Ecuador; and Pipa in Brazil. The video includes all of the flight safety measures required by international regulations, and it is available for passengers on international flights starting today.

The new safety video is the first produced and recorded by the group outside of a conventional studio and includes more than 60 LATAM employees who work in different areas of the company in Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

"This new safety video showcases the essence of LATAM - an airline that connects the world with Latin America and its warm and friendly people, and an airline with safety at the forefront of our operation" said Chris Ellis, Country Manager - Oceania, LATAM Airlines.

LATAM offset CO2 emissions from flights and hotels in the five destinations, in line with its commitment to become a carbon-neutral airline group by 2050, resulting in a 100% carbon-neutral production.

The video emphasises the importance of their safety and hygiene measures and notes that it is the responsibility of each passenger to wear their own mask, which must completely cover the nose and mouth.
