Now a firm festival favourite, the Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar is open from Friday 1 August to Monday 25 August 2014. The ideal place to escape festival fever with a glass of chilled champagne, a sumptuous afternoon tea or plate of lobster, the pop up bar also has its own Fringe Food & Drink events in the fine surroundings of the Upper Library. 

With a distinctively Scottish feel, the 2014 events include a unique Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo ticket & dinner package and chocolate and whisky cocktail matching sessions. The much-loved sold out champagne events from 2013 will also be returning, including popular tutored tastings with Pommery's UK ambassador, Sara Hicks. 

Tattoo packages include champagne cocktails, a three course dinner and a private escort to seats at the Tattoo which avoid the gueues.   A few places remain for these and they represent one of the few remaining ways to secure Tattoo tickets which are fully sold out. 

The Pommery Champagne Cafe Bar is a partnership between Edinburgh creative caterers Heritage Portfolio and the Writers to the Signet, owners of the Signet Library.
