Get active with the family this August. Adventures in the Alps has a number of last minute family activity holiday places available for August.

Staying in a fully catered chalet in the beautiful town of Chinaillon, above Grand Bornand, families will get out to play in the mountains, rivers and lakes of the area, to see and enjoy the best of the Alps in summer time.

Activities include white water rafting, mountain biking, kayaking, Parcous Aventure (tree climbing / zip-wires) and guided walking. There are also a host of great festivals, events and other activities for all ages to enjoy.

For those who want to take it easier, the chalet has a deck for sunbathing and outdoor eating, there is a superb pool in Grand Bornand, 10 minutes drive away, and the grassy beaches of Lake Annecy are 45 minutes for open water swimming, sailing, water-skiing and much more.

Our in-house chef prepares a cooked or continental breakfast in the morning, as well as a pack-lunch plus a delicious and varied 3-course dinner with wine 6 days a week.

Rooms are available throughout August. The cost, from £499 per person includes everything except for car hire, flights and one lunch and dinner out.
