LAST CHANCE TO NOMINATE TRAVEL BRANDS FOR THE INAUGURAL FAMILY TRAVELLER AWARDS 2015

28 May 2015: With the nominations deadline one week away, Family Traveller is reminding travel brands not to miss the deadline for a chance to be included in this year's inaugural Family Traveller Awards 2015.
The competition is hotting up, with more than 700 nominations placed across 18 categories so far. Family Traveller are urging brands to make sure that they are among the competition before the midnight deadline on 5th June 2015.
To enter, PR and marketing professionals, whether agency-side or in-house, as well as business owners, need to go to the dedicated awards page at http://awards.familytraveller.com. Entry is free and simple, requiring nominees to choose a category from the list of 18, provide the company name and contact information, and provide a short description on why the brand is so great for families.
Nominations close on the 5th June and the expert judging panel will then create a shortlist for each award across all 18 categories. The final shortlist for each category will be announced online (www.familytraveller.com) on 1st July, and in the July/August 2015 edition of the magazine. It will also be promoted across social networks and channels. Readers and members of the public will then be invited to vote until the end of August 2015.
The first ever winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, to be held in London, in mid-September 2015.
The aim of the awards is to recognise the best in family travel. The magazine itself focuses on helping families make the most of their free time together through inside-track information, celebrity interviews, in-depth destination features and looking ahead at holiday trends. The awards will replicate this ethos by recognising mould-breaking operators, providers and destinations from the UK and across the world.
Andrew Dent, publisher of Family Traveller, said: “The response we have seen so far has been overwhelming. Already, more than 700 travel brands have submitted nominations and there is still over a week to go before nominations close. If you have yet to nominate, now is the time to make sure you or your client is in the running to be recognised amongst the best in the family travel industry.”
