Cruise tour specialists ecruising.travel have released their latest exclusive itinerary to the popular cruise tour range, “Land of the Rising Sun” - a 17 night comprehensive and fully escorted land and sea tour of some of the most beautiful cities in Japan.

 

The journey begins with two nights stopover at the Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel, with a city tour including lunch. Fly to Tokyo on August 25 and spend three nights at the Shangri La Hotel, where you will start the land touring in Japan.
 

You will have a full day of sightseeing in this fast paced and fascinating city including Hamarikyu Garden, Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo Skytree and take part in a traditional tea ceremony.
 

Then, spend time in Hakone experiencing the Hakone Tozan Tesudo ride , the Hakone Ropeway and the Lake Ashi excursion boat before  travelling in first class aboard the JR super express train to Kyoto.
 

You will have two nights at the Kyoto Hotel Okura to explore this ancient city including the Kiyomizu Temple, Heian Jingu Shrine and the Kinakuji Temple. From here you will have a day trip to Nara to visit the Todaiji Temple, Nara park- known for its friendly deers who like to be hand fed and the Kasuga Taisha Shrine.
 

After travelling back to Tokyo you will board Diamond Princess for a nine-night round trip cruise from Tokyo visiting ports such as Kobe, Beppu, Kagoshima and Nagasaki in japan and Cheju in South Korea.
 

Prices start from $6839 per person twin share from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth but may be subject to change due to the airfare component.
 

The package includes return economy airfares from Australia, eight nights hotel accommodation,  six days fully escorted touring in Japan with an English speaking guide, comprehensive sight-seeing with transportation and some meals, rail tickets in japan, transfers, nine nights cruise accommodation with  main meals, access to the ship’s numerous services, activities and facilities, port charges and government taxes. This tour is limited to 30 people.
