Lady golfers can experience double delight at Mannings Heath Golf Club with the Horsham venue launching an exclusive membership offer and golf break package for late summer.
To celebrate hosting the 2013 English Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship from August 6-8, the forward-thinking West Sussex club is offering to waive the joining fee to the next 13 women who take up membership - a saving of up to £750.
The enticing 'Lucky 13' offer will run until the end of the year (or until the limited number of places are taken if before), while ladies also have the chance to enjoy the many benefits of playing golf at Mannings Heath with the club's 'Tickled Pink Package'available for only £165 per person.
For a limited time only until September 30 and based on four people sharing, the break includes 18 holes on Mannings Heath's two award-winning courses, the Waterfall - venue for next month's big women's amateur event - and the Kingfisher, Sussex's number one pay-and-play course in 2011.
Visitors will enjoy a one-night stay in the club's fully-restored 19th century four-bedroom Fullers Cottage, one three-course dinner in the clubhouse, a full English breakfast the next morning and afternoon tea on the terrace after golf on the second day.
In addition, guests can relax in the cottage's own private garden and take advantage of Mannings Heath's other facilities including tennis courts and its 17th century clubhouse and, to make sure the break gets off to a perfect start, ladies will be treated to a bowl of strawberries and one bottle of Nyetimber Rosé English sparkling wine on arrival.
Steve Slinger, general manager at Mannings Heath Golf Club, said: "Being chosen to host the Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship is a great honour for everyone at the club and we wanted to mark the occasion with something very special.
"The 'Lucky 13' promotion gives people the chance to join one of the best and friendliest clubs in the south of England with an offer they won't find anywhere else while our 'Tickled Pink Package' provides exceptional value and the opportunity for ladies to treat themselves both on and off the course."
