Paris Plaza Athne is thrilled to open its glamorous new al fresco dining venue, La Terrasse Montaigne. With the design by Patrick Jouin and cuisine by Alain Ducasse, this chic terrace will be the place to be seen this season. Located on the most fashionable avenue in Paris, it is perfect for a quick bite or a leisurely Parisian afternoon with top notch people watching. Light snacks, hearty meals, and a variety of fresh cocktails leave visitors spoiled for choice. La Terrasse Montaigne offers an a la carte menu from 35 Euro; reservations are not required.
La Cour Jardin, the hotels lovely inner courtyard, is another option for al fresco fare. Famous for its Riviera-style cuisine, soothing garden atmosphere, and signature red geraniums, it continues to be a seasonal favorite.
La Terrasse Montaigne and La Cour Jardin will both feature Pastry Chef Christophe Michalaks new Spring/Summer Collection. His sweet selection of seasonal pastries includes: Raspberry and Marzipan Gateau, Strawberry Religieuse, Red Berry and Verbena clair, and Peach Melba Macaroon (pictured below). As captain of the French team, Michalak won the 2005 World Pastry Cup, a bi-annual, nineteen country event that is the reference point for expertise in the industry.
