Glitz and glamour are on the menu in equal measure at Spain's five-star La Manga Club over the next month with the resort having revealed a range of new dining and entertainment offerings to help guests enjoy the long summer evenings.
Former X Factor finalist Ruth Lorenzo is among the many highlights to have been unveiled on the entertainment programme as visitors have the chance to unwind and party the night away at Europe's premier sports and leisure destination.
Lorenzo, a personal favourite of Simon Cowell's in the 2008 X Factor and who represented Spain in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, is among the artists who will be performing at the 1st La Manga Club Summer Gala Dinner on Thursday August 7 in aid of the children's charity Alda Foundation.
Tickets for the exclusive event cost €65 per person which includes moonlit gala dinner (and wine) around the swimming pool of the resort's luxury hotel, live music, a charity raffle and auction by PY Gerbeau, non-executive chairman of La Manga Club, and appearances from some of the complex's celebrity ambassadors.
And back by popular demand this year is the resort's White Night evenings, where guests have the chance to experience the spirit of Ibiza with moonlit beach dinner parties at the resort's own Mediterranean cove with live cooking stations, cocktails, and chill-out DJ sets.
The next Ibiza-themed evening will take place on Friday, August 15 and costs €90 for adults (€30 for children under 12) including a buffet dinner, wine and soft drinks and live music.
La Manga Club boasts unrivalled facilities as a sport and leisure venue including three 18-hole championship golf courses and a new Leadbetter Golf Academy – the only such facility in mainland Spain, a 28-court tennis centre and a 2,000sqm spa and fitness centre. In addition, there are a wide range of sporting academies for all ages this summer.
Visitors can stay in a choice of the resort's four-star Las Lomas self-catering apartments or five-star Principe Felipe Hotel with a seven-night bed-and-breakfast stay for a family of four available from €1,953 (approx £1,620) including access to the Spa La Manga Club's saunas, steam rooms, indoor pool and gym.
In total, La Manga Club offers more than 20 bars and restaurants and its own Mediterranean cove beach.
