Britain's top tennis players had no hesitation in heading to Spain's La Manga Club this month to complete their preparations for the 2014 season and fans of the game can do the same in the coming weeks and enjoy some fantastic late winter packages.

The eye-catching breaks include two hours' court hire per day or daily 45-minute tennis lesson at La Manga Club's 28-court tennis academy - the overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association until 2016 - and accommodation and breakfast in its four-star fully-serviced Las Lomas Village apartments.

In addition, guests will also receive complimentary use of Spa La Manga Club's fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms.

A similar length stay with the same terms in La Manga Club's five-star Hotel Principe Felipe is on offer from €340 per person (approx £285) while people seeking a longer stay can experience a seven-night hotel break including seven tennis sessions from €595 per person. (approx £495)

Both hotel packages are available from November 3 until January 10, 2014, with all prices including VAT and based on two people sharing a room.

Featuring a tennis academy including 20 clay courts, four hard courts and four on artificial grass, La Manga Club boasts some of the best facilities in Europe and British stars including Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, Laura Robson, Tim Henman, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins have all used the resort to train over the last decade.
