Taking place for an impressive 17th successive year, the 36-hole event – which will be played on the resort's acclaimed North and South courses – attracts men and women from all over the continent and offers the ideal chance to grab a sunshine golfing break before Christmas.

Players will compete over a number of different categories for an array of top prizes, with this year's competition also featuring a halfway cut and a consolation plate tournament.
Tournament packages feature four nights' accommodation in the five-star Hotel Principe Felipe or four-star Las Lomas Village, with breaks including breakfast and a welcome pack; a cocktail reception; a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony. Prices include tournament entry for golfers as well as a practice round, practice balls and on-course refreshments during the event.

In addition, event guests will also enjoy discounts of 15 per cent when eating at any of the resort's Amapola, Asia, Luigi's and La Bodega restaurants and recently-rebranded and renovated The Village cafe, and complimentary access to the five-star Spa La Manga Club's fitness centre, indoor pool, saunas and steam rooms.

Set across 1,400 acres in an area three times the size of Monaco, golfers have been flocking to La Manga Club for the last 45 years, taking advantage of extensive golf facilities including three 18-hole courses, a nine-hole academy course and a recently-opened Golf Training Centre.

A five-time host of the Spanish Open, the resort has hosted some of the most famous names in the game, with golf legends including Gary Player, Arnold Palmer and Severiano Ballesteros all featuring prominently in its past, while it will stage the World Golf Awards for the first time in its prestigious history from November 23-26.
