La Manga Club Celebrates GB Tennis Success With Ace New Spring Breaks

La Manga Club

Britain is the talk of the tennis world at the moment with Johanna Konta and the Murray brothers' exploits at the recent Australian Open following last year's memorable Davis Cup victory.

The trio are just some of the many star players to have benefitted from training at the five-star La Manga Club, and tennis fans are being offered the chance to follow in their illustrious footsteps by taking a tennis break at Spain's flagship resort.

To help celebrate their achievements and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) extending its partnership with the resort as its official overseas training base until 2019, La Manga Club has launched a special 'Tennis Celebration' break – one of a wide array of packages giving guests the chance to experience its world-class 28-court tennis academy for themselves.

With an average of more than 300 days' sunshine a year, the award-winning venue in Murcia offers the perfect destination for professional and amateur tennis players to work on all aspects of their technique under sunny skies.

Featuring 20 clay courts, four hard courts and four on artificial grass, the academy boasts some of the finest tennis facilities in Europe and a wide range of academies are available for guests of all ages to improve their racquet skills.

As well as regularly hosting the LTA's elite tennis stars, La Manga Club regularly hosts the world's top tennis stars as well as staging both Davis and Fed Cup tennis matches, with South Africa's Kevin Anderson, ranked 14th in the world, among the recent visitors.

Available to book until February 28 for breaks taken before October 30, 2016, the packages include three nights' bed and breakfast accommodation in a Panoramic Room in the resort's Las Lomas Village from €255 per person (approx £196) including two 45-minute private tennis lessons.

All prices are based on two people sharing a room and also feature complimentary access to the fitness centre, indoor pool and steam rooms at Spa La Manga Club.
