L.A.'s Iconic Angels Flight Is Set to Start Running Its Tracks Once Again

Los Angeles Tourism

Following its appearance in the critically-acclaimed film, La La Land, Los Angeles' tiny historic railway, Angels Flight, is reopening to the public for the first time in over three years.

From 2nd September, Aussie travellers along with Angelenos can have their very own La La Land experience by riding between the famed Grand Central Market and the top of Bunker Hill in one of the two cable cars, Sinai and Olivet.

Interest in the 116-year-old treasure was sparked following its role in the film, prompting ACS Infrastructure Development Inc. to take over the operation from a non-profit organisation. The historic railway will be refurbished before it's opening on Labour Day.
