Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong�s Angelini Chef Vittorio Lucariello presents an auspicious four-course set menu, known as Capodanno Chinese, making the arrival of the Lunar New Year a memorable occasion for his guests. The set menu is available on 26 January to 31 January 2009.

A synthesis of Chinese and Italian flavours, the set menu features Braised Abalone with Chinese Dried Sausage and Balsamic Reduction; Linguine with Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Dried Fish Eggs; a selection of main dishes of either Red Garoupa with Mushrooms Ravioli in Fish Consomm� or Slow Baked Pork Shank with Mango Mustard; and ends on a sweet note with Rice Pudding and Pistachios Nuts. The set menu is priced at only HK$780 per person.

Fireworks Night (27 January 2009)

As festivities reach their height on the second day of the Chinese New Year, Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong�s prime harbour front location makes it the perfect venue where guests can enjoy a privileged view of the spectacular fireworks extravaganza over Victoria Harbour.

The menu features Modena Parma Ham 24-aged with Buffalo Mozzarella Norcia Black Truffle Filled Bigne; Risotto with Abrate Pear, Asparagus and Norcia Black Truffle; a choice of main dishes of either Mediterranean Red Snapper Slowly Cooked in Extra Virgin Olive on Norcia Black Truffle Mashed Potato or Braised Wagyu Beef Cheek with Leeks, Porcini Mushrooms and Norcia Black Truffle; and ends with Norcia Black Truffle Gelato with Chestnuts Low Sugar Sauce and Pine Nuts. For an additional HK$280 per person, guests can enjoy three glasses of wine to complement their meal.

Angelini delivers authentic Italian cuisine using only the finest ingredients of the season, accompanied with an extensive wine list of over 100 Italian wines.
