Korea Tourism Organization Releases New Advertisements Featuring 'Descendants of the Sun' Star Song Joong-Ki

Korea Tourism Organization has recently released new international advertisements in mid-August featuring the star of the popular drama 'Descendants of the Sun', actor Song Joong-ki.  The advertisements highlight Korea's creative beauty and will be seen on major TV channels around the world as well as online and through social media networks.

The new advertisements feature the well known Korean hallyu star and 'Descendants of the Sun' star Song Joong-ki who is now the new face of Korea tourism.  The advertisements feature Song Joong-ki before various backgrounds showing the charming creativity of Korea.

It highlights the creativity of the Korean people, the creative reinterpretation of traditional Korean cuisine, the creative vibe and passion that runs through Korean life and the exciting and varied nightlife on offer.

The target audience of the new advertisement are 20-30 year olds throughout the world who are interested in Korean dramas, K-Pop stars and the energetic lifestyle of young Koreans. 

Korea Tourism Organization's Brand Marketing Team leader Jung Sung Ae stated their aims and expectations of an excellent outcome of 16.5 million visitors to Korea this year thanks to the new global marketing campaign encouraging more young travellers to Korea.
