Knight Inlet Lodge, British Columbia, Canada has re-opened its doors for the 2013 season.
As the bears come out of hibernation this spring, the replacement floating lodge re-opened for the 2013 season on May 24, 2013.
Accommodation is on a floating lodge at Glendale Cove, with sixteen guest rooms all with private bathrooms where guests can enjoy bear watching tours, sea kayaking, rainforest walks and the benefit of wildlife experts, as well as local, fresh gourmet meals.
Now is the time to see mother bears and their cubs while late summer and early autumn are also perfect times to visit, as the grizzlies are drawn to the salmon spawning streams to feed themselves up ready for hibernation.
