Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is expanding its wellness-inspired banquet menus with the introduction of new smoothie bars and trail mix* snack stations, available at Kimpton properties across the USA. Groups who book their events at Kimpton hotels can select from five fuel-infused smoothie options and blends of antioxidant-rich dried fruits and nuts developed specially by Kimpton chefs.
"These new nutrition-packed menu options give our business travellers an opportunity to fuel both mind and body during a long day's worth of meetings," said John Inserra, Kimpton's Executive Vice President of Restaurants. "We are always on the hunt for new ways to help travellers maintain a healthy lifestyle while on the road."
Available as an add-on to breakfast, lunch or for a mid-meeting break, the new healthy menu options are designed to keep guests focused, energised and productive when they need it the most. Guests can choose from a selection of five smoothies, including:
- Jump Start: Blueberry, banana, Greek yogurt and flaxseed
- Om Sweet Om: Green tea, mango and papaya
- Ready, Set, Glow: Almond milk, acai berry, flaxseed and coconut water
- Hug Yourself: Peanut butter, banana and dark chocolate
- Food for Thought: Strawberry, apple, orange and wheatgrass
Additionally, at the trail mix snack station guests can pack a punch into their meetings with antioxidant-rich blends of nuts, dried fruit, berries and granola developed by Kimpton chefs. Guests also have the option to "build your own" snack mix.
