Families planning a ski holiday for the week of 21-28 March, designated 'Family Week', should check the superb 'Kids Free' offer available through participating Livigno properties featured by www.ski-livigno.com. The first child (under 12) staying with two paying adults in the same hotel room, will stay free of charge. The second child (under 12) will receive a 50% discount. (Discounts are also available for guests who prefer to stay in apartments).
'Kids Free' also extends to six days of free ski school group lessons, ski and boot rental and ski pass for the first child. If there is a second child he or she will enjoy a discount of 50%. To qualify both adults also have to purchase the identical services of ski school, ski and boot rental and lift pass.
Off the slopes, the generous discounts also extend to Livigno's impressive health and leisure centre 'Aquagranda' where facilities include a fitness centre and large swimming pool.
The resort is located at 1,800 m in a long broad valley known locally as 'Little Tibet' with a ski range from 1,800 – 3,000 m. The resort boasts 115 kms of piste with plenty of beginner and child friendly terrain on the village slopes. Livigno is famous for its 'Duty Free' status with over 250 shops selling designer brands, perfumes, electrical goods, spirits and tobacco at tax free prices. For example a litre bottle of Gordon's Gin costs just over £5!
