There's lots of good things about being a kid, especially if youre under 12 you get to stay free, play free and eat free at Club Med Lindeman Island in the Whitsundays!
Bookings are now open for one of Club Meds most popular family holiday packages Kids Stay Free!
From 25 January to 27 March 2002, families can take advantage of this Club Med holiday deal. For each adult paying the normal holiday package cost, one child under 12 can stay free, play free and eat free! (Children share a room with parents).
Club Med Lindeman Island is a kids' paradise. The village is set amid nearly 700 hectares of World Heritage national parklands, looking out over the beautiful Whitsunday Passage. There are six secluded bays and beaches, perfect for picnics, snorkelling, swimming, small boat sailing, beach volleyball and plenty more.
Or how about learning new skills at Club Med's unique Circus School? It's not everyone who can go back to school saying they spent some of their holidays on a flying trapeze.
One of the great things about all this is that kids can "mix and match" with the oldies - join up for some meals, some fun, but spend the rest of the day with other kids of around the same age, under the expert guidance of fully qualified and experienced child experts - the famous Club Med G.O.s.
Club Med Lindeman Island is superbly set up for families. There are three separate children's clubs: the Petit Club for two and three year olds, the Mini Club for those four to seven and the Kids Club for children eight to eleven.
The children clubs have an action-packed daytime programme, keeping youngsters happy from dawn (you really WANT to get up early here) to dusk. And beyond: there's different-every-day evening entertainment and stage shows for all the family. Then there are the meals. Buffets with food kids like... healthy, presented with flair. There are three restaurants at Lindeman from a casual poolside BBQ to the more intimate a-la-carte dining experience. You can pretty much eat all day if it takes your fancy!
Lindeman has got everything going for it, from the marvellous natural setting through to its almost limitless programme of activities, said Richard Blanchette, Club Meds National Sales Manager. Kids are kept safe and happy all day, every day. Mum and Dad can get a real break but still do a lot of things as a family if they choose, its entirely up to them. The daily activities programme for adults is enormously varied, from playing golf on one of the world's most spectacularly sited courses to archery, fitness classes, basketball, guided nature walks, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling, water polo and water aerobics.
The holiday package is virtually all-inclusive, priced in Australian dollars and not subject to pricing changes which means youre protected by currency fluctuations. Packages include adult airfares, transfers to and from the village, accommodation, three sumptuous buffet meals a day, drinks with meals (wine, beer and soft drinks with lunch and dinner) and all the activities Club Med villages are renowned for. The only cost for kids is airfares and transfers.
"That stretches the holiday budget further and makes Club Med Lindeman Island an almost unparalleled value option," said Blanchette.
