Cobblers Cove, the plantation house hotel on the West Coast of Barbados is offering free nights for families and free accommodation and activities for children during the summer holidays. The package represents savings of over £600 per family.
Two children under the age of 13 can stay for free with breakfast if sharing a suite with their parents. All the rooms at Cobblers Cove are suites and have sofa beds in their sitting rooms. Families booking for a week will also get two free nights with breakfast. When booking fourteen nights, families will receive four free nights with breakfast.
Kids also get to experience two hours of complimentary activities every weekday during the summer holidays. Activities include swimming with turtles, hibiscus hunting in the hotel's tropical gardens, beach combing, sea kayaking, sailing, swimming, arts and crafts and tennis lessons. A daily water skiing lesson is also included free of charge. All the activities are supervised, giving parents two hours of relaxation each day while their children are kept busy.
Children looking to sharpen their cricket or golf skills, can sign up for the new cricket and golf camps, which Cobblers Cove launched this year in partnership with the Franklyn Stephenson Academy.
The Franklyn Stephenson Academy is located in a private estate and is the newest training facility on the island of Barbados. The academy is owned by record breaking, past professional cricketer and current golf professional - Franklyn Stephenson - a Bajan national and ex-county cricketer who played for Nottinghamshire and Sussex.
The sessions will run for two hours each day and will be open to all ages and abilities at a cost of £30 per child per day.
