Ethos is delighted to have been appointed UK representatives for Kambaku Lodges in South Africa from 1 September 2019.
Owned and managed by Bryce and Nicola, Kambaku comprises Kambaku Safari Lodge and Kambaku River Sands in Limpopo's Timbavati Game Reserve as well as Kambaku @ Sea on the Cape's iconic Garden Route.
KAMBAKU LODGES - TIMBAVATI, LIMPOPO
Owner run family-friendly safari lodges in the popular Timbavati Game Reserve. Safaris are not to be missed, traversing a 12,000 hectare area (1,000 is sole use) of pristine bushveld in search of the Big 5. Kambaku is the only lodge with access to both the Timbavati and Klaserie Reserves. Safaris are enjoyed on game drives and on foot and the reserve is renowned for its rare white lions and African wild dogs.
KAMBAKU SAFARI LODGE
• Safari lodge sleeps up to 16 guests in 8 chalets including 3 inter-leading family units and offers fantastic value for money.
• This “Green” eco-lodge is powered entirely by solar energy.
• Safari Lodge is fenced and welcomes children of all ages and offers babysitting services, a pool table, playroom as well as a KUBS junior rangers' program for ages 6 – 12.

KAMBAKU RIVER SANDS
• This 5-star hideaway offers just 10 thatched suites and steps the luxury up another notch, with beautiful picture windows to maximise the views.
• River Sands boasts an infinity swimming pool, a wellness area with indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms and a fully equipped gym.
• Meals are enjoyed on the riverbank, on the deck overlooking a waterhole, in the sunken wine cellar – or in the boma under the stars.
• Accepts children over 12 years old only.

KAMBAKU @SEA – SEDGEFIELD, GARDEN ROUTE
Located a stone's throw from the seaside town of Knysna, this boutique B&B is located up in the hills of Sedgefield. It boasts just 5 luxury suites set in 40 hectares of unspoilt fynbos overlooking the Swartvlei estuary - encircled by mountains and forests. Here, your closest neighbours include bushbuck, honey badgers, otters and tortoises. There is a jungle gym and toy box for children and an extra bed/cot can be added to all suites. A beautiful swimming pool is located a level below the property with stunning views. A great base from which to explore Knysna and the Garden Route or just head down to the nearby beach to swim, snorkel, cruise and kayak – or search for the rarest species of seahorse on earth, the Knysna/Cape Seahorse.
