K West Puts The Sheep Back Into Shepherd's Bush

K West

Shepherds Bush derives its name from the shepherds who used to rest their flocks on a triangular green in the north of the borough on their way to market up until 1900.

Today the Shepherds Bush is a modern thriving borough within London, but like many areas of the Capital still retains the name derived from those historical times.

To celebrate its history, the hip design hotel K West has put the sheep back into Shepherds Bush.

Now sheep can be viewed on the t-shirts of the housekeeping staff, on K Wests website, on the Do Not Disturb signs and on the hotels promotional material. There are also squidgy massaging sheep with sunglasses in the mini-bars and beautiful sheepskin throws in the K Suites.

A spokesperson for K West said: Guests obviously love the new concept as housekeeping can barely keep-up with re-ordering K Wests Do not Disturb signs featuring, of course, more sheep, as the guests are collecting them as souvenirs.
