Jungle Island Invites Active Military, Veterans and First-Responders for FREE Park Admission over Memorial Day Weekend

MIAMI— To pay homage to America's heroes, Jungle Island invites all veterans, active military, police and fire personnel to enjoy FREE park admission over Memorial Day weekend from May 28-30, 2016. What's more, South Florida's favorite landmark attraction also will offer a 50% discount for up to four accompanying family members.

 

“While Jungle Island is proud to offer special military discounts 365 days of the year, we are committed to making Memorial Day weekend extra special for those who dedicate their lives to protecting our country and Greater Miami community,” said Christopher Gould, Jungle Island's managing director. “It gives us great pleasure to also extend a favorable discount to our heroes' family members over Memorial Day weekend and provide a memorable start to the official kickoff of the summer season.”

 

Jungle Island recently reopened its much-anticipated Rainforest Riptide, a floating obstacle course and water playground, at the park's private beach, Parrot Cove. After a salt-water plunge, have fun with the energetic hosts of three engaging animal shows including the popular Winged Wonders, Wild Encounters and Wild Adventures. Then explore the lush 18-acre attraction and its numerous wildlife from twin orangutans, Australian red kangaroos, Aldabra turtles to big cats, reptiles, colorful parrots, and much more.

 

To take advantage of Jungle Island's Memorial Day weekend offer, a valid military or employee I.D. must be presented at time of ticket purchase. Regular park admission is $39.95 per adult and $32.95 per child (ages 3-10). Tax is additional. The Rainforest Riptide is additional.
