New from June 2022, Air Wilderness has partnered with Scenic Air Safaris to create Scenic Wilderness which will operate direct flights between Lewa and the Mara on a shared charter basis for the first time.
The Scenic Wilderness charter flight will be the most convenient and comfortable way to travel between Lewa and the Masai Mara, and vice versa, eliminating the necessity to stopover in Nairobi when travelling from Mara to Lewa. This will give tour operators flexibility when planning itineraries allowing safaris to start in either destination, with seamless transition to the other. This new route offers an enhanced itinerary for those guests who prefer to start their trip in the iconic Mara - for a classic introduction to the incredible game and safari experience - before moving on to enjoy the more immersive and personalised opportunities on safari - including all the varied activities, such as bush walks and camel trekking - that is possible in a private conservancy.
The charter flight costs $600 boasting stylish interiors with nine large comfortable seats available. A selection of still or sparkling water in eco reusable glass bottle will be available on the flights, with luggage limited to 15kg per person.

The direct flight will cost $600 (from Lewa to Mara) with bookings confirmed with 20% deposit and a balance of payment required 60 days prior to booked departure date. Agents booking with Air Wilderness can also avail of a 25% discount. The flights will operate daily between 08:00 and 13:00 from the 1st of June 2022.
