Jumeirah Carlton Tower has appointed Hugh Murphy as Club Manager of The Peak Health Club & Spa.
Hugh will oversee the smooth running of the award-winning Peak Health Club & Spa. Ensuring delivery of the five star Jumeirah standard of service that is synonymous with the Group, his areas of responsibility will include The Clubroom, the aerobics studio, the swimming pool, the state of the art gymnasium and the golf simulator.?
Hugh will promote and develop new fitness initiatives to retain the loyal client base while attracting new members to The Peak Health Club & Spa. He will also provide expert training and support to his Peak Health Club & Spa colleagues.
Before joining Jumeirah, Hugh held the position of General Manager at the Virgin Active gym in Notting Hill. Prior to that he worked in the leisure sector as General Manager of American Amusements overseeing a large team of staff at a hotel, two nightclubs and a family entertainment centre.
He has also previously held managerial positions at Esporta Health Clubs. Whilst working at the Northside Club in 2007 he won the Manager Of The Year award.
