Journey Latin America reveals holidays featured in BBC's 'Seven Worlds, One Planet'.

In anticipation of 'Seven Worlds, One Planet' series starting Sunday 27th October at 18.15 on BBC1, specialist tour operator Journey Latin America reveal their top holiday picks to destinations featured in the David Attenborough documentary. The first episode of this 7-part series will focus solely on Antarctica, which can be reached by either expedition cruise vessel from Argentina or a 2-hour flight from Chile. The UK's no.1 specialist in travel to Latin America offers expertly designed Tailor-made Holidays and Escorted Group Tours which include unique opportunities to spot wildlife as seen on the BBC series.

Signature Antarctica: Highlights of the Antarctic Peninsula, 13 nights from £8,990pp.

This 10-night cruise spends each day circumnavigating the glacial peninsula, with regular excursions on land and aboard zodiacs to spot abundant wildlife: whales, leopard seals, and endless colonies of penguins. Activities on offer include hiking across snowy landscapes, kayaking round ice bergs, dips in thermal pools and camping overnight on the ice under breathtaking starry skies.

Wildlife Peru and Galápagos, 13 nights from £5,625pp.

The Tambopata Research Centre, found deep within the incredibly biodiverse Peruvian Amazon, was a key filming location for the BBC series. This Private Journey visits the Tambopata region where you can spot rainforest wildlife and observe conservation researchers at work in the jungle. From November, a new road will allow travellers to reach the TRC on the same day as arriving at the airport- reducing the journey time from 2 days to just 3 ½ hours by car and boat. After Peru you can continue to the Galápagos Islands, the birthplace of Darwin's Theory of Origin, where giant Galápagos tortoises and blue-footed boobies await wildlife-enthusiasts.

Active Chile: Treks in Torres del Paine, 12 nights from £4,711pp.

Pumas roam among the snow-capped mountains of Torres del Paine National Park. Staying in cosy tented eco domes within the park itself, you'll go on guided excursions to spot pumas led by an experienced tracker. This outdoor adventure holiday includes hikes, volcano climbing, river rafting, horse riding and mountain biking in Chile's scenic Lake District and the glaciers of Patagonia.
