In the wake of news that travel companies are refusing to refund their customers, specialist tour operator Journey Latin America are today reassuring clients about their booking, cancellation and refund policy.

With all departures now cancelled until 24 May and future departures reviewed on a daily basis, the company has, for the past month, been contacting clients to offer postponements at no extra cost, through to the end of 2021.  Over 60% of their customers have been keen to reschedule their trip, or take a credit voucher where their final plans are  still uncertain.

For those who have not been able to postpone, Journey Latin America are issuing prompt refunds as requested.

Having successfully repatriated hundreds of clients from destinations across Latin America, with all their travellers safely home by  the 31 March, this  is the first time in their 40 year history that the business does not have any clients travelling in the region.
