As Malaysia celebrates 60 years of independence, this year at WTM, Tourism Malaysia will be embracing the theme of eco-tourism and sustainable nature tourism, whilst also introducing new and exciting products with our tour operator and hotel partners. Monday 6th November, 10 am, Stand AS700- Tourism Malaysia Pavillion- Grand Opening

Everyone is welcome to join Tourism Malaysia for the grand opening of the 2017 Malaysia Pavilion by YB. Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture. To launch the event in 'Malaysia Truly Asia' style, we will have a cultural performance from Keningau in Sabah.

Tuesday 7th November, 3.15pm, South Gallery Room 23- Tourism Malaysia Press Conference

The Minister of Tourism for Malaysia will present the key news and developments from 2017 and present the government's vision for 2018 and beyond, with a focus on the UK market. Key themes will focus on ecotourism in Sabah and culture and heritage in Melaka and Penang. There will be some exciting announcements with regards to new tours, technological innovation and new tourism products, including cruise, hotel and airline updates.
