This summer, top designers and world-class models will once again descend upon the Caribbean's fashion capital, Kingston in Jamaica, for Caribbean Fashion Week which takes place from 6 - 10 June 2013.
Now in its 13th year, Caribbean Fashion Week is the region's largest and most prestigious fashion event and will see Former Destiny's Child star and fashion icon, Kelly Rowland, return to the show to perform a full concert on 8 June 2013. The Grammy Award winning star and solo artist, previously performed at Caribbean Fashion Week in 2009 and commented, "I am looking forward once again to bringing my personal style, as well as my music, to the Caribbean's big fashion event."
Caribbean Fashion Week is a favourite fixture on the global fashion calendar, offering the perfect platform for designers and stylists from Jamaica and all over the world to showcase their collections of Caribbean and international fashion. Approximately 50 designers from 20 countries participate each year with previous UK designers including London-based and internationally celebrated Jamaican, Jessica Ogden, British Young Designer of the Year Kelly Jade Nichols and Vogue-acclaimed Gavin Douglas.
Jamaica's capital city, Kingston, will also welcome a host of international celebrities for the occasion which promises a week of non-stop glamour with catwalk shows, live entertainment and nightly after-parties.
