The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), a proud sponsor of the Jamaican Diaspora UK National Conference (JDUK) 2014, was pleased to share Jamaica's newest tourism branding with conference delegates on Saturday 14 June at host venue The Centennial Centre in the West Midlands.
Regional Director for the Jamaica Tourist Board in UK and Northern Europe, Elizabeth Fox, presented 'JAMAICA Get All Right' to event attendees, explaining the rationale behind the new look and ethos, and shared a video clip of the current TV advertising creative.
Commenting on the positive reception to the new branding, Elizabeth Fox said; “The audience at JDUK 2014 was very supportive of Jamaica's new destination branding and our efforts to communicate that Jamaica is more than just a holiday destination - it's a feeling, it's an experience. The world is realising what the Jamaican diaspora has always known. That Jamaica has so much to offer, and so much more than other destinations. I explained to the conference that for this reason, we thought it was time to refresh the way we market Jamaica.
“Jamaica is where people come to find positivity, a force making the world feel more all right through its rhythm, energy and spirit. Capturing that essence and bringing it to life is what comes through in our new campaign identity. We wanted to bring the vibrant, joyous spirit of Jamaica to life. You go to Paris for romance, Las Vegas to get wild, and you go to Jamaica to Get All Right.”
