It's Time to Taco 'bout Te Quiero Mucho Taqueria Southside - Wong Chuk Hang's newest urban oasis

Southside's lively new urban oasis and social space, Te Quiero Mucho Taqueria (TQM), invites guests to kick back and enjoy authentic mouth-watering tacos, burritos and tortas only 12 minutes from Central via MTR. 

Now open in the cultural neighbourhood of Wong Chuk Hang, a stone's throw away from the new state-of-the-art MTR Station, lively Mexican eatery Te Quiero Mucho Taqueria Southside is the place to unwind, have a couple of beers and cave in to every sweet or savoury craving with authentic Mexican dishes served with a smile.  

The space has been inspired by the rich Mexican street culture full of colourful street art and the smell of great food around every corner. A funky designed Taco truck constructed out of recycled container parts has been playfully decorated with vintage Mexican adverts and colourful street art graphics. The seating arrangement is an eclectic collection of vintage furniture covered by a colourful ceiling and strings of fairy lights giving the space a real urban Mexican vibe.  

Forever pushing the limits with innovative but true-to-origin creations, TQM Taqueria introduces a new street-side favourite Mexican Torta (HK$125) to its Southside menu. Found only at the new TQM location, this delicious sandwich is loaded with pork milanesa, tomatillo salsa, fried beans and queso fresco, and is reason enough to pay Wong Chuk Hang a visit. Also new on the menu, the Chicken Adobo Burrito (HK$118) dressed in plentiful chipotle mayo and pico de gallo is perfect-to-share alongside TQM's signature guacamole (HK$118).  

Those looking to turn their evening meal into a fiesta can opt for one of TQM's house-crafted cocktails such as the Las Palomas Coloradas (HK$125) a mix of dry orange peel infused tequila, Amaro Montenegro, yuzu and grapefruit juices, homemade hibiscus syrup and soda. A frozen cocktail making machine will also be in operation serving slushy margaritas with both classic and margarita of the day flavours (HK$98). Imported craft beers are also chilled and ready to go in TQM Taqueria's ice-cold refrigerators, making it difficult to leave after just one drink. 

TQM Taqueria Southside also features a pool table – perfect for winding down after work with friends, while food-lovers more pressed for time can choose from a list of grab-and-go options that make for a brilliant al-desko lunch.  

Te Quiero Mucho Taqueria will host its grand launch, Fiesta Caliente, on 28th September during ESCAP3 – the 5th anniversary party of Ovolo Southside and promises to be the place to be for a fun and feisty time.
