Crown Towers was awarded Victorian Tourism�s highest accolade for hotels last night at the 2003 Victorian Tourism Awards, Winner Luxury Accommodation.
Around 1,000 industry colleagues gathered at Crown�s Palladium ballroom for the 2003 Victorian Tourism Awards that saw Crown Towers awarded Winner Luxury Accommodation.
On receiving the award, Crown Towers Executive General Manager Peter Crinis praised the contribution made by his staff.
�This accolade is evidence that Crown Towers continues to strive for the high standards that underlie the success of Victoria�s tourism industry and all staff are to be applauded for their contribution in making this possible,� Mr Crinis said.
�This award celebrates that Crown Towers is the pinnacle in service, standards and innovation in Victoria and we look forward to representing this state in the National Tourism Awards in February 2004.�
In addition to the hotel�s win, the Crown Entertainment Complex received Merit in the category of Major Tourist Attraction.
