It's Going to be a White Easter With Lots of Events Planned for the Weekend at Vermont Ski Areas

Ski Vermont, The Vermont Ski Areas Association

Sunrise services, egg hunts and Easter Bunny sightings will highlight the upcoming Easter weekend at Vermont ski areas.

Many Vermont ski areas are planning Easter events and late season celebrations to complement great spring ski and ride conditions. Recent storms dumped up to 11 inches of snow at some central and northern Vermont ski areas.

Although some people growl at snowflakes this time of year, the snow should be followed by spring weather and sunny skies according to weekend forecasts. Weekend festivities include sunrise services, Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny sightings and other events.

Vermont ski areas planning Easter weekend events include Jay Peak, Stowe, Sugarbush, Smugglers Notch, Killington, Okemo, Stratton and Mount Snow.

A comprehensive listing of events and conditions at Vermont ski areas remaining open are available at www.skivermont.com.
