British Airways has introduced additional offers to its currently running 'World on Sale' promotion.

The only European airline to service Australia has further reduced its economy fares to parts of Asia. Passengers travelling from Australia can now travel in low season to Singapore from as little as $268, Bangkok and Samui in Thailand from $468, as well as Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia from $368.

To take advantage of the special Asia fares, which exclude taxes and surcharges, customers should book before June 15, with travel permitted between July 1 - November 30, 2014, or January 16 - March 24, 2015.

The British flag-carrier has also opened the window for economy travel to Europe – from as little as $734 return in low season - using its special promotional fares for bookings made before June 15. Passengers can now travel to more than 65 of Europe's most exciting destinations between July 10 – August 13 and September 1 – November 30, 2014, as well as January 16 – March 24, 2015.  

Nicole Backo, regional commercial manager, South West Pacific, said: “There is such an appetite for travel in the region that we wanted to give our passengers even more opportunity to take advantage of our special fares and see the world.”

With British Airways flying directly from Sydney airport, the airline has ensured all customers can utilise its 'World On Sale' fares by making them applicable with its code-share partners Qantas, Cathay Pacific and Japan Airlines, who fly from every major port in Australia.

For those who like to break their trips up or explore along the way, there are eight stopover destinations available with the fares (normal stopover taxes apply), including Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Tokyo and London, providing more flexibility than ever for passengers.
