Studiainitalia is pleased to offer a unique course that is targeted to families with children who wish to have relaxing holidays in Tuscany, learning the Italian language as well as experiencing local life through cultural and social activities. The course lasts 1 week and is available from May to October on request.  

The course takes place in San Giovanni Valdarno, a lovely town located in the province of Arezzo on the bank of the Arno River, birthplace of the early Renaissance painter Masaccio. It is the ideal place if you wish to meet local people and experience the real Italian life in a relaxing atmosphere. From the train station of San Giovanni Valdarno, you can easily reach Tuscany's most famous cities: Florence and Arezzo are 30 minutes away, Siena and Cortona just 45 minutes away, while the breathtaking region of Chianti is 20 minutes away.  

Studiainitalia's partner school in San Giovanni Valdarno is located in the town centre and was founded in 1996. Over the years, the school has maintained its family oriented environment, ensuring that high quality teachers provide an authentic and enriching Italian experience.  

The “Italian for families in Tuscany” programme includes:

• first day city tour and welcome breakfast
• 10 hours Italian Language Course
• 1 cooking lesson for the whole family
• 1 guided visit to Florence by train
• 1 visit to an Educational Farm
• 1 excursion on foot in the countryside
• 1 horse-riding session in nature

One of the activities above can be substituted for one of the following: 1 drawing lesson; 1 photography lesson; 1 entrance to the local pool; family yoga session.

Indicative Prices

1-week course, including accommodation in independent flats, teaching materials and transfers for the programme:
- € 1625 for a family of 2 people (1 adult+1 child)
- € 1925 for a family of 3/4 people
