Ionian Island Holidays introduced its own transfers in 2013 to the islands of Paxos and Skopelos and its proving very popular with their regular and new clientele alike. Historically, clients were transferred using the local island ferry services, which on occasions was unpredictable to say the least.

This often meant client's had to wait around for scheduled services which were often unreliable. The company took this opportunity to introduce their own transfer arrangements to Paxos and Skopelos to ensure their clients experience a more seamless transfer and arrive at their chosen holiday destination at the earliest possible time.

On Skopelos, guests arriving on the private charter boat the "Sporades Queen" are given a very warm welcome which includes live traditional music and dancing, ladies are greeted with a beautiful bunch of flowers and everyone enjoys local sweets.  A most traditional welcome.

The new Paxos transfer has already received glowing reviews from returning guests. Now departing on a Sunday, Ionian's clients are taken by coach from Prevesa Airport to the stunning resort of Parga for the onward sea transfer to Gaios aboard the vessel "Vicky F", which carries up to 300 passengers in comfort.

Sailing time is approx 50minutes and guests arrive on Paxos relaxed and ready for their Greek island holiday. Moreover, as these are private transfers, they are not affected by any disruptions to scheduled services, which caused ferry cancellations in the past.
