Carbon Balanced Paper Relaunch Event: Thursday 10th December 2015, London
CarbonCO and World Land Trust (WLT), would like to invite you to attend the relaunch of the Carbon Balanced Paper initiative in London on Thursday 10th December 2015.
Carbon Balanced Paper offers a way for organisations to enhance their environmental credentials and balance the carbon impact of the paper they use, through the work undertaken by International conservation charity World Land Trust (WLT). As part of its activities, WLT has identified areas of forest which, through protection and reforestation projects, can offer opportunities for specific Carbon Balanced programmes.
During its initial phase prior to this relaunch, the Carbon Balanced Paper initiative was responsible for balancing 87,500 tonnes of CO2 and preserving 2,650 acres of high value conservation land.
A keynote address from Director of CarbonCO Jonathan Tame will outline the initiative, announce new partners and supporters and highlight how Carbon Balanced Paper can enable companies to demonstrate their commitment to the environment and help them meet their growing environmental requirements. There will also be presentations from Rohini Finch, a Trustee at World Land Trust and Mark Thompson, Director, Sustainability & Climate Change at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Date: 10th December 2015
Time: 11.00 – 14.00
Venue: PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
7 More London Riverside, London SE1 2RT
