Invitation To Attend: "Gafa: A Family Called Samoa" On Wednesday 30 October At 7pm

Samoa Tourism Authority

Talofa!

The Samoa Tourism Authority would like to invite you to an evening of culture and theatre at a performance by the Gafa Arts Collective. The production is  part of the Origins Festival of First Nations which showcases work from indigenous peoples around the world.

‘Gafa: A family called Samoa’ is a layered art experience which features traditional & modern Samoan art forms. The Gafa Arts Collective is a multi cultural London-based arts company led by Samoan Director Sani Muliaumaseali’i. Opera singer Aivale Cole, former model & arts innovator Rosanna Raymond, writer Stella Duffy, and the filmmaker Paul Yandall are amongst the contributing artists.

‘A Family called Samoa' takes its inspiration from many unsung acts of Samoan heroism,” says Muliaumaseali’i "it’s a human tale seen through Samoan eyes’’.

This show is the ideal opportunity to find out more about this fascinating aspect of Samoan values. By way of an introduction to this authentic South Pacific destination, the Samoa Tourism Authority would be delighted if you would like to join us on the evening.
