A sparkling lake, mountain meadows, glacier-covered peaks and in between hundreds of “Iron Athletes”.

Join us on a press trip to the Ironman 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge and would like to take part in a relay - the discipline: 1.9 km swimming.

Athletes swim 1.9km in the beautiful Lake Zell, compete on the bike for 90km along the picturesque region of Zell am See-Kaprun, Maishofen, Bruck, Piesedorf, and run 21.1km along the lake to finish in Zell am See. It's called Ironman 70.3 because of the full distance of 113km, which is 70.3 miles.

The event is one of only 12 in Europe, with the best of each class qualifying for the World Championship. What's more: Zell am See-Kaprun will be the first European destination to host the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in 2015! http://www.zellamsee-kaprun.com/en/news-events/ironman
