Introducing Vitality Conferencing at Swissotel Sydney

Swissotel Sydney

SYDNEY, March 2013 - Swissôtel Sydney, is pleased to announce the long awaited arrival of the unique Vitality Day Delegate Package just in time to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Vitality.

Taking a business trip can often mean long days full of travel and meetings. The Swissôtel Sydney experience for the meeting delegate is based on the belief that a healthy mind needs a healthy body. Vitality meeting breaks stimulate participants with light, fresh food and drink options. The breaks are tailored to a specific time of day, enhancing mental capabilities, motivating participants, magnifying memory and defusing stress.

Exclusive to Swissôtel Sydney, the Vitality DDP consists of four distinctive breaks which have been carefully created by the hotel's Executive Chef Stephan Tseng, to follow the 20/55/25 rule, 20% protein, 55% carbohydrates and 25% fat, otherwise known as the ideal athlete's diet.

Each dish will have its ratio and calories clearly displayed so delegates will know the content of each dish they consume. At the end of each day, the total ratio that you will consume from the dishes provided is 20/55/25.

The four Vitality breaks:

Kick Off Break

This break comes for most delegates just after breakfast; it is a booster not a filler. With options such as Kiwifruit and low-fat yoghurt smoothies, blue pear protein shots with yerba mate and Goji berry and wheat grass booster shots, delegates will be ready for the day.

Mid Morning Break

Timed just before lunch when delegates begin to get restless and designed to be a teaser not a filler, this Mid Morning break has mainly salted options on offer such as savoury pesto and beetroot muffins, vegetable crudités and prawn rice paper rolls.

Lunch

Here is your filler! Start your lunch with delicacies such as honey roasted pumpkin salad with organic blue lentils, rocket and Meredith goats cheese, BBQ squid salad with green papaya, snow pea sprouts, mint, coriander and nam jin sauce. Delight in Angus beef sliders with chilli tomato jam and gruyee cheese and pretzel sandwiches with spicy Spanish salami, gherkins, sauerkraut and Dijon mustard and conclude with raspberry mousse with freeze dried lychees and fruit skewers with Swissôtel Sydney's very own honey.

Afternoon Break

It is all about sweet offerings for the last break of the day and this is what will keep the delegates going throughout the afternoon. Eton mess, bambino gelati and sago pudding with fresh mango are just some of the tempting treats on offer.

With the concept of Vitality integrated throughout the entire hotel from in-room exercise equipment, jogging maps of Sydney, fully equipped gym, outdoor heated pool and nutritious Vitality dishes on the In Room Dining menu, Swissôtel Sydney is quickly becoming the hotel of choice for conferences and events in Sydney.
