Love Cottages (www.lovecottages.co.uk), is the UK's largest collection of personally inspected holiday cottages. The site launches with some 9,500+ UK holiday homes. A further 6,500 committed properties will be onboarded by April.  Rest assured, every single one of the 16,000+ holiday homes has been personally inspected.

Love Cottages is the brainchild of its five co-founders, who are independently the owners and directors of some of the UK's most successful self-catering agencies*. Striving to uphold the reputation of holiday home rentals and to prioritise the guest experience, they've rallied 47 of their peers to create the most trustworthy collection of privately owned holiday cottages.

“Love Cottages provides accommodation as advertised. No more hoping and guessing what you'll get on arrival. Just quality holiday cottages you can trust from search to stay,” says James Ellis, chairman of Love Cottages. In addition to personally inspecting all of the cottages listed, the majority of properties also carry a Visit England or Visit Wales accreditation. 

Ellis continues: “Our photos are accurate and current, our customer service teams are location experts and they're on the end of the phone if you need them. Service is at the forefront of our aim to deliver memorable holidays memorable holidays in the space, comfort and privacy of a quality assured holiday cottage backed by local expertise and first class customer care.”

All properties show real-time availability and are bookable online or over the phone with a real person here in the UK. Guests have the option to book their chosen property online or to initially just make an enquiry, depending on their immediate keenness to commit to the booking. Transactions are available online or over the phone, and the booking is made directly with the managing agent. The website will continue to evolve technically to offer more sophisticated search and onboard additional eligible^ self catering agencies.

In a poll of 10,000 cottage rental customers, Love Cottages found that 63 per cent of holidaymakers rated property inspection as the most influential factor in the choice of company they booked with. The second most influential factor was the availability of secure payment methods. Love Cottages customers can book online or over the phone, direct with the property's managing agent.
