InterContinental Hong Kong's Managing Director Jean-Jacques Reibel is pleased to announce the appointment of Alice Mafaity as Resident Manager.

Alice brings a wealth of international experience to her position at InterContinental Hong Kong, with over 15 years in the hotel industry working in her native France as well as in Tokyo, Dubai and Shanghai.

Alice joined InterContinental this fall as Resident Manager, following two years at Jumeriah Himalayas in Shanghai where she served as Hotel Manager and EAM Operations. Prior to that, she spent over six years with Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in Dubai, UAE - serving as Food & Beverage Director at the Madinat Jumeirah Resort, Mina A Salam Hotel, F&B Manager at Madinat Jumeirah Resort, Al Qasr Hotel and Assistant F&B Director at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Alice started her hotel career with Hilton Hotels – at the Hilton Paris CDG Airport, where she worked her way up the ranks in a variety of Food & Beverage management positions including Room Service Manager, Banquet Operations Manager and Restaurant Manager. She then relocated to Japan to join the Hilton Tokyo as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.

While gaining international knowledge, she has also overseen large scale hotel operations at the various 5-star hotels (some with 800+ guest rooms and up to 15 restaurants and bars, plus banqueting facilities).

Alice's impressive educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Sciences, Economics and Business Administration from La Sorbonne in France and a French MBA in International Hospitality Management from Imhi, Cornell University in Essec (outside of Paris).

Alice has relocated to Hong Kong with her husband and 6 year old son. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with the family discovering Hong Kong. Her hobbies and interests include various sports, dining out and traveling.
