The International Magic Society (IMS) have awarded the prestigious Merlin Award to Australian Illusionists Tony and Juleen for �International Illusionists Of The Year 2002�.

Tony and Juleen will be the first Australian Illusionists in history to receive the Merlin Award. Past recipients of the prestigious award have included David Copperfield, USA; Siegfried and Roy, GERMANY; and Joe Labero, SWEDEN.

Remington Scott, The International Magic Society World Vice President, from New York will present Tony and Juleen with the trophy later this month at Wonderland Sydney.

Tony and Juleen have been the resident illusionists at the largest theme park in the Southern Hemisphere - Wonderland Sydney for the past three years performing an incredible showcase titled: �Spellbinding Sorcery�. Spellbinding Sorcery is the only permanent illusion show in Australia.

Each year, the Board of Directors of the IMS and the Magic Academy voting members vote for a magician who excels in the field of magic. The Merlin Award is the only magic award recognised worldwide by the general public.

The International Magic Society (IMS) began in 1968, to help promote and preserve the art of magic and provide a format where magicians could share their secrets and ideas for the improvement of magic. The IMS in the largest magic organisation in the world.
