Evian Resort Golf Club, the Major course at Evian Resort on Lake Geneva France, which recently reopened following extensive refurbishments, will host the International Couples Challenge, a light-hearted golf tournament for couples that takes place between 4-6th October 2013. In this lively competition, the passion for golf resonates as couples compete against each other to take the prize.
Couples are invited to share unforgettable moments of fun, in a warm and friendly atmosphere on the course for this two day competition. There are three categories, Silver (25 years of marriage), Crystal (less than 25 years of marriage) and Partner.
The programme
Friday 4 October:Training round
- Welcome cocktail party and welcome dinner at the Hotel Ermitage
Saturday 5 October: Scramble format
- Cocktail party and announcement of the day's result
- Special prize-giving ceremony and Gala evening at the Hotel Ermitage
Sunday 6 October: Greensome format
- Cocktail party and prize-giving ceremony at the Golf
The International Couples Challenge package includes:
- 2 nights at the Hotel Ermitage with breakfast
- The opening cocktail party on Friday
- The dinner on Friday and the gala dinner on Saturday (including beverages)
- Green-fees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Free access to the Evian Resort Golf Club and the Academy
- Enrolment fees for the competitions
- Snack breaks at the half-way point
- Free access to the sports and relaxation facilities: pools, tennis courts, hydro-contact trail.
