January 6 - 30, Harbourside, InterContinental Hong Kong's popular all-day restaurant is showcasing An Authentic Taste of Italy at its elaborate lunch and dinner buffets with specialty dishes prepared by our  Executive Chef Nicola Canuti, Harbourside Chef Calvin Choi and their team.

 

Executive Chef Nicola Canuti has specially selected dishes and ingredients from four regions of Italy including Lombardy and Piedmont (in the North), Tuscany on the West Coast) and Puglia (in the South).  Especially for this promotion, he is importing specialty produce and ingredients from each region, with dishes featuring classic cooking methods and traditional tastes.

 

Guests can enjoy a selection of regional Italian cheese and cold cuts on the Antipasti buffet, along with favourites like Bruschetta and fresh Mozzarella on the salad buffet. There will be action stations with our chefs preparing fish carpaccio and making fresh pasta à la minute.

 

The carving station will include salt-encrusted baked fish, Bistecca Fiorentina and a selection of other traditional baked and grilled dishes which will change daily. Enjoy a daily changing specialty pizza, as well as Italian soup and fresh fish soup on the buffet. You'll want to save room for classic Italian desserts such as Tiramisu, Pastiera Napoletana and Caprese & Ricotta Cake.
