About “Le Creuset”

Since 1925, “Le Creuset” has been crafting the world's most cherished cookware, bringing joy into kitchens everywhere. During its nine-decade history, the beloved brand has manufactured over 300 million products for more than 70 countries.

Since the two founders Armand Desaegher (casting specialist) and Octave Aubecq (enamelling specialist) emerged the idea of applying enamel on iron pots, ”Le Creuset” has stood out from the market when most of the kitchen utensils were dully coloured at that time. The signature colour, Flame Orange, was the first product of ”Le Creuset”. Since then, the coloured cookware has been widely introduced to the households of many families.

Besides the unique appearance, the delicate crafting attracts many followers worldwide. From acquiring exquisite handiwork of craftsmen in the old days to using the leading technologies of molding in today's manufacture, every cookware and product is generated from a marriage of enameling and iron casting, which guarantees high quality and durability. With adequate care, products of “Le Creuset” can be passed on to future generations together with good memories in every kitchen. Up until today, the company insists that all iron casts to be made in France.
