Sydney, AUSTRALIA, 2 February 2016 – InterContinental Sydney ramps up its role as cupid this Valentine's evening, offering four bespoke packages for every palate and romantic. 

From Cafe Opera's signature buffet to an exclusive Harbour View event, InterContinental Sydney has curated the ultimate culinary collection. New to the offerings this year, 117 dining is reopened with its seasonally-inspired degustation menu while Supper Club opens its door for a scenic night of cheese plates and fine wine.

New to 2016 and in commemoration of the leap year, InterContinental Sydney is getting set to delight four lucky romantics with a surprise room key to end the night in luxury. Called “Yours Truly,” InterContinental Sydney diners are encouraged to share their leap year gesture – a long-standing tradition where norms are waived and ladies take the lead – by sharing their story with us through the #intercontinentalsydneyvalentinesday hashtag. Winners will be notified on the night.

Cafe Opera Valentine's Dinner
Set within the sandstone arms of the 1851 Treasury Building, Cafe Opera offers its truly unique seafood buffet with live cooking stations, locally-sourced produce and theatrical displays. For the incurable romantic, indulge in an inspired dessert buffet featuring a dramatic candy station, dark chocolate fountain, dipped strawberries, Jasmine crème brulee and signature macaroons. 
Enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne on arrival and a surprise treat from the team for your loved one.

117 dining Valentine's Day degustation and Supper Club ending
In its first year as 117 dining, this inaugural package consists of a tailored 6-course degustation menu created by our chefs especially for Valentine's, accompanied with matching wines and complimentary box of petit fours. Starting with fresh chucked oysters and ocean trout, you'll discover butter poached marron and marble score+7 wagyu among the menu. From culinary wonder to sky-scraping views, the package finishes the night with access to Supper Club on level 31 after 8pm for a post-dinner beverage and Love Ball indulgent dessert.

Supper Club Valentine's Day Wine and Cheese
For the ultimate in decadence and intimacy, Supper Club ignites the romance with its package for two including a cheese plate to share and a bottle of G.H Mumm Champagne. Surrounded by uninterrupted and inimitable views of Sydney's Harbour, Supper Club is Sydney's only rooftop lounge.

Harbour Room Exclusive Valentine's Dinner
Blending local flavour and a world-class backdrop perched high on level 31, the Harbour Room is open for an exclusive 14 February dinner event. Starting in style with canapés and a complimentary glass of Champagne, a 6-course degustation menu follows with accompanying matching wines and box of petit fours to spoil your loved one. Tickets can be purchased direct or through Lime&Tonic.
