Wilder Kaiser Après Ski Weeks 23 Oct 2015
Individual Press Trips to Tirol's Wilder Kaiser

Austria Tourism

Between Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg and Kitzbühel lies the Wilder Kaiser region, part of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. 90 lifts, countless slopes and over 70 ski huts invite you to swing by. With 280km of pistes - the majority of which are kept snow-covered throughout the season - this is Austria's largest connected skiing area. And, this winter, the Wilder Kaiser is inviting journalists from the UK to explore it all.

Reach the peak and pause to take in the incredible views - the Wilder Kaiser Mountains stretching for miles and the beautiful village of Söll nestled in the valley below. Tear down the wide slopes of Austria's largest ski area, powder under your skis and a grin on your face. And when you need a break, stop in one of the cosy huts dotted over the mountain and grab a hot cup of coffee - or a cold beer if you prefer. Boarders can get their kicks in three different snow parks, where amateurs and pros alike show off their skills. If you're an après animal, Söll is full of lively bars and clubs - just follow the sounds of live music and laughter.

Discover the latest innovations in Austria's largest interconnected ski area, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, such as the fastest 8-seater chairlift in the world or the brand new 10-seater gondola Hartkaiserbahn, in the winter press release attached.

Childcare on the Mountain and in the Valley
Kids from one to four years are cared for at the KiKo Söll or Ellmi's Kids Club. Little ones are in the best hands at the local childcare while their parents can hit the slopes with peace of mind, free to pop in and check on them now and then.

Kids Ski Free with Crystal
Free lift pass for children - for 90 lifts and 280km of pistes - in Austria's largest ski area, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, with Crystal packages. Available from 12th March until the end of the season. Get to know the area from a family perspective on an individual press trip next January. Register your interest with anna.cummins@austria.info.

Ski Hard - Party Hard
Spring is the time for ski fans. Gorgeous pistes with optimum snow conditions in the morning and plenty of sunshine out on the terrace in the afternoon. And because ski huts with live music are even more fun, there will be bands from a variety of genres playing at multiple cabins across the Wilder Kaiser region every day from 5th to 26th March 2016. Thanks to the free ski hosting service, everyone is guaranteed to wind up in all the right huts throughout the Hüttengaudi Weeks. See for yourself on an individual press trip by registering your interest with anna.cummins@austria.info.
